From the time I was little my mother has taught me that you have to look presentable all the time even if you are just running in and out the house. I used to hate when she told me that because it felt pointless to go to the store fully dressed especially if I was coming right back home but now, as I get older I see her point.

You never know who you’ll run into while you’re out and the last thing you need is someone talking shit because you looked bad (and trust, the person will). Some of  you are probably saying “who cares, who cares?” But the way you present yourself is a reflection of you.

My mom used to say the same thing. Weird thing is, i used to get so mad and say I would never be so “proper” like her. Now, I catch myself telling my brother the same things.
